1. He will maintain his 5.0 yards per carry

In each of his first three NFL seasons, Chubb has averaged at least five yards per carry, which is a big reason he has enjoyed so much success.

In 2021, he will maintain this and continue to be one of the premier backs in the league.

There are a couple of factors that will contribute to the success of Chubb and him maintaining this statistic.

First off, as mentioned before, the Browns had the best offensive line in all of football last season. Every starter on the line returns, which is a major boost for Chubb and the rest of the offense. When this line opens up holes for Chubb, he bursts through them and gives the opposing defense fits.

The other factor he will continue to have success on his carries is his ability to take contact and keep going. Last year, Chubb averaged 4.1 yards after contact. When you factor this in with his toughness, vision, and how elusive he is, it should be no surprise why he is considered one of the best back in the league.

All of the aforementioned factors of what makes him so good is why ESPN’s Mina Kimes thinks Chubb is the best pure runner in the NFL.
