No. 2: Jarvis Landry, Wide Receiver

A name that no one will want to see on this list is Jarvis Landry. A guy that came to Cleveland and really helped change the culture of the organization.

I won’t argue he’s a very good NFL player, or that he doesn’t add a ton of value to the Browns roster, but we can’t hide from the facts. Landry is a 30-year-old receiver who is undersized and lacks athleticism. He is a great zone receiver but will deteriorate even faster as he gets older.

Landry is under contract for two more seasons, but remember, his guaranteed salary will be zero next offseason. With so many deals looming, will Berry want a declining talent taking up $16 million in cap space?

I know I have upset a lot of people with this one, but just sit and really think about it. Landry is making the same type of money that Davante Adams, Adam Thielen, and Stefon Diggs are making. All guys that are much bigger impact players than Landry.

Expect Landry to have another solid year in 2021. He will have 75-80 catches for 800 plus yards and six touchdowns, but it will likely be his last year in Cleveland. In fact, you’ll likely see a major change in the Browns wide receiver room for 2021 to 2022.
