The Cleveland Browns start training camp at the end of July and these 5 players are set to turn heads with their performances ahead of the season

The dog days of summer are here, which is usually when we start to run out NFL stories to follow. But the good news is, the Cleveland Browns and the rest of the league will start training camp at the end of July.

Once they do, there will be no shortage of news coming out of Berea. But when it comes to the players, which names are going to be generating the most headlines?

Here we identify five players who will be doing this as they turn heads in Berea during the 2021 Browns training camp.

5. Jedrick Wills, OT

Last season, Andrew Berry used his first-ever draft pick on Alabama offensive tackle Jedrick Wills who helped solidify the team’s offensive line. He had some growing pains but played well at left tackle — which was impressive considering how little work he got in with his coaches due to the pandemic limiting their in-person workouts.

Even without many of the offseason programs, and the constant COVID mandated facility closures, Wills made the transition from right tackle to left tackle and held his own. Now, he has a full season of experience under his belt and has already had time in the offseason to work with his coaches and teammates.

There’s no denying Wills is going to be better in 2021 and it will be evident as early as training camp. Sure, there won’t be much contact but just his comfort level and the understanding of his job will be evident.
