Cleveland Browns vs. Jaguars live stream: Watch Preseason Week 1 online
By Randy Gurzi
The Cleveland Browns kick off the preseason with a Week 1 game in Jacksonville. Here’s all the information you need to catch the action.
We won’t see many of the big names this weekend, but Cleveland Browns football will still be back, and after the long offseason, it’s going to be nice to see some NFL action.
It will also be the first preseason football we have seen since 2019 after the NFL had to shut their exhibitions down in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic — and while the regular season went on just fine last year, being able to watch these practice games is a little more fun than seeing small clips of practices at camp where no one could attend.
Of course, things are different this season as well due to the extension of the regular season. With the league expanding to 17 games in the regular season, the preseason will now be just three games instead of four. And the Browns kick their season off with a game in Jacksonville against Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
While the Jags are likely to get their young quarterback some reps, Cleveland will not put their starter on the field. It’s already been announced that Baker Mayfield won’t play at all, meaning this will give us all an extended look at Case Keenum.
We should also see some of the new faces on the re-made Browns defense. Even without No. 6, there will be plenty of reasons to watch, and we have all the info you need to catch the game.

Cleveland looks to get their defense up to speed as they hope to improve upon an 11-win campaign in 2020. This week will be the first step in that direction as they also get to see Urban Meyer make his debut as an NFL head coach.
