Cleveland Browns grades: Who got an A, who got an F vs. Giants?

The Cleveland Browns Defense
After last week’s game at Jacksonville, everyone in Cleveland was talking about Jeremiah-Owusu Koramoah. This week I was like, where did he go? I know he started the game, but he didn’t even register a tackle on the day.
Browns linebacker Elijah Lee, on the other hand, had nine tackles on the day. New defensive tackle, Malik McDowell had a nice start to his NFL career with the Browns, registering a sack and assisting on four more tackles. Jordan Elliott, defensive tackle also had a nice moment earning a sack on the quarterback.
Cleveland’s rookie cornerback Greg Newsome II had a nice game as well, defending the pass from more of the inside position this game. The Browns third-year corner Greedy Williams, who’s had a history of injury and bad luck in his time in Cleveland, aggravated a groin injury and that could leave Newsome the starting role opposite cornerback Denzel Ward once the season starts.
The defense forced the Giants to punt six times on the day. They also picked off the Giants final pass attempt on the afternoon as that Browns rookie safety Richard LeCounte III showed up again when it counted and snagged a tipped pass for an interception to secure victory for the Browns.
