With the new NFL Top 100 rankings being released, two of the Cleveland Browns biggest stars make a big jump in rankings

When it comes to the NFL and its Top 100 players list, every year it seems as if players are ranked too high or too low. While I’ve always thought it can be too hard to rank players on such a list, it is definitely still a cool thing to do that can gather a lot of attention.

Two of the Cleveland Browns biggest stars have made pretty significant jumps in the rankings this year after having solid years last year and putting the league on notice.

Myles Garrett lands at number 16 on the list this year, after ranking at 80 just last year. The other star? Running back Nick Chubb, who jumps 20 spots to number 26 after coming in at 46 last season.

Both Garrett and Chubb are yet to play this pre-season, as head coach Kevin Stefanski continues to rest his guys and get them ready for the big Week 1 matchup in Kansas City.

After watching the first two preseason games, however, I do believe the starters definitely need some run in the preseason finale, even if it is just a series or two.

Reporter Tony Grossi shared his takeaways after watching yesterday’s win against New York, and I have to say, all of his takeaways seem to be pretty spot on.

While the Browns are a star-powered team with guys all across the board, they are far from perfect. Avoiding injuries is key and you never want to lose a key guy in the pre-season, but it is there for a reason.

Getting key guys some reps next week is more than ideal, and it will be up to Stefanski to get his guys some reps before the big dance begins.
