The 2021-2022 season will be a big one for the Cleveland Browns. There are three players who are poised to have big years.

The Cleveland Browns are looking to have a huge 2021-2022 season. Coming off of their best year in decades last season, Cleveland has assembled one of the best rosters in the entire NFL.

This is a team that has genuine Super Bowl hopes and there is no one doubting that they are real contenders this season.

The Browns must learn how to come together and play as a unit in a very short amount of time. With all of the new additions to the defense, on the field chemistry is something that will be a focal point for the Browns defensive unit this season.

This is something that they excelled in last season. They were able to implement a new playbook and head coach without in-person training camps. This year, they have had the luxury of being face to face, however, it is still not an easy task to accomplish getting that many new pieces working in cohesion.

There will be a big need for players to step up and lead their respective units. Along with this, the development of some players on the team must either begin or continue on the uptick for the Cleveland Browns to accomplish their goals for the season and make a real run at the Super Bowl.

On top of the three players that are poised to have breakout seasons, there are also two players who should get honorable mentions.

The first player being Myles Garrett. Garrett is already the cream of the crop in terms of the defensive end position. However, barring injury, this will be the year that Garrett is able to ascend any year of play he has had yet and will win the award of Defensive Player of the Year.

The second player that will have a breakout season is Jadeveon Clowney. Clowney will have the benefit of playing alongside previously mentioned Myles Garrett. As a result of this, he will be facing much less pressure from the opposing offensive line than arguably any other time in his career. This could be a huge bounce back season for Clowney and we could finally see what he can truly do in the NFL.
