4 Positions Cleveland Browns could upgrade with roster cuts

No. 1 – Offensive Tackle
Like above, I’m not saying that Jack Conklin or Jedrick Wills Jr. can’t get the job done in 2021, I’m saying I don’t like the depth behind either one of them. The rookie fourth-round pick, James Hudson, has really struggled so far to make the adjustment.
He has held his own in the run game but has been beat badly any time he has been forced to pass set.
Alex Taylor was a high ceiling undrafted free agent in 2020 but still looks like he has yet to put the pieces all together. He is a big guy that bends at the waist too much which instantly throws him off balance.
Chris Hubbard came into the season as the “sixth man”. He can play tackle or guard, but he just hasn’t looked great to this point either. He is coming off a serious Achilles injury, so let’s hope that he continues to get better with practice reps.
At this point, if a solid backup tackle did hit the market, Berry should strongly consider it. This offense is built around the run game and keeping Baker Mayfield clean in the pocket.
It would be a shame to see one injury upfront cost the Browns so much.
