Cleveland Browns 2021 season prediction post roster cut down
By Greg Newland
Week 13 – Bye Week
The Browns get a late bye week, which will help for the postseason push. And it can help them gameplan for a rematch with the Ravens.
Week 14 – Ravens at Browns
With a week off, will the Browns be able to get on track to get a huge divisional win? I think with a bye week and the home crowd behind them, the Browns will be able to split the series with the Ravens as they get a huge win.
The defense will have to play well to contain Jackson, and Mayfield will have to be extremely sharp. Chubb will have a huge run late in the game that will seal the deal as the AFC North championship will come down to the last few weeks of the regular season. 9-4 overall and 3-1 in the division is not a bad place to be after 14 weeks.
Score – Browns 26, Ravens 20
Current record 10-3
Week 15 – Raiders at Browns
This will be a big redemption game for the Browns as the Raiders came to Cleveland last year in awful weather and basically stole a win. Mayfield didn’t play well, but the conditions were awful.
On December 19th, you could very well see the same thing again, but this Browns team will be better prepared. Look for the Browns to pound the rock with Chubb and Kareem Hunt, and one big passing play will be all it takes for the Browns to get a huge win to go to 11-3.
Score – Browns 28, Raiders 20
Current record 11-3
