Have you ever felt so excited, like legitimately excited, like you’re feeling today about the Cleveland Browns having a great season ahead?  So pumped about the Browns opportunity to beat the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend and thinking, realistically that this “is” the year the Browns finally head to a Super Bowl.

I know you have.

It’s in our DNA as loyal Browns fans

But really, this could be our year!

There are many things we’ll all be watching during the game Sunday. On the defensive side of the ball I can’t wait to see what defensive ends Myles Garrett and Jadeveon Clowney can do to that young and inexperienced offensive line of the Chiefs.

With special teams, what will new rookie sensation and running back Demetric Felton be able to accomplish? Can he take one back for six on a kick return? There once was a former Brown named Josh Cribbs that I saw in person take two kicks back for touchdowns at a Chiefs and Browns game back in the day. Do you remember?

Beyond the field of play, what will it be like to play in front of a sold-out venue with a crazed Chiefs fanbase at Arrowhead Stadium? I’ll be in attendance and I can’t wait. I’ll be decked out in my Browns gear, don’t worry!

As there are these stories to follow there’s also the high-powered Browns offense that scored 32 points or more in eight games last season to key in on. These storylines on the offensive side will have a lot to do with the final outcome of the game.

I don’t believe the Browns have to score 45 points to beat the Chiefs in this game. Last season, the same people said the Browns needed to score that too, and the final score ended up being 22-17. Certainly, scoring touchdowns and a lot of them would be ideal. In the same breath, the Browns can’t afford to kick field goals all day and expect to win, even with a revamped defense.

There are several parts to this high-powered Browns offense Let’s begin with our franchise quarterback and leader Baker Mayfield.
