3. Cleveland Browns Tight End, Austin Hooper

Austin Hooper was likely one of the biggest disappointments in 2020. He had a lot of crucial drops and just struggled to find his rhythm in the offense.

Sunday was better, as he had three catches on three targets for 27 yards, but I still want to see more from him. This needs to be the game where he really breaks out and has five or six catches for 60 plus yards and a touchdown.

Kevin Stefanski wants to utilize Hooper, but it appears that Baker Mayfield really lacks confidence as he often doesn’t even look his way. David Njoku, who is technically tight end number two on the roster had far more looks on Sunday than Hooper.

This game vs. the Texans could be the perfect opportunity for Hooper to break out. The Browns will likely have a lead most of the game, and they should have no problems running the football.  That means the play-action game could be huge which should be a huge benefit for the tight ends.

If the Browns offense is as efficient as last week, he should also get at least a few opportunities in the red zone. Teams are going to start piling the box to slow down Nick Chubb, so Hooper could have an opportunity at a wide-open grab on Sunday.
