Baker Mayfield injured after ugly interception

The Cleveland Browns are holding their collective breath as Baker Mayfield suffered an apparent arm injury after throwing a pick
Things went from bad to worse for the Cleveland Browns on Sunday as they saw Baker Mayfield head to the locker room after throwing an ugly interception in the second quarter of their game against the Houston Texans.
Cleveland had an ugly series to start the game, which saw another star player go down as well. Jarvis Landry, their No. 1 receiver, limped off with a knee injury and doesn’t appear to be returning.
The Browns were able to score after that thanks to a muffed punt but then the defense gave up seven quick points as well. Looking to go back ahead, Mayfield was throwing it down the field for rookie Anthony Schwartz, who appeared to stop on the route.
A pick ensued as Justin Reid took the ball away, which is where the problems really got worse. Mayfield went to make a tackle and appeared to injure his left arm.
He headed to the blue tent but was quickly sent to the locker room for future evaluation. Backup quarterback Case Keenum started to loosen up on the sidelines and could be headed into the game.
Thankfully, Keenum knows the offense well since he has experience with Kevin Stefanski but it’s no secret that he’s a downgrade from what No. 6 brings to the table.
Houston went up14-7 as Tyrod Taylor scored on a long run.
Update: Baker Mayfield is back on the sidelines for the Browns and will take the field again.
