Odell Beckham Jr is looking to improve off of his Week 3 performance and produce in a big way when the Browns head to Minnesota to take on the Vikings.

The (2-1) Cleveland Browns are heading north to U.S. Bank Stadium to take on the (1-2) Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. It won’t be a cakewalk for this Browns team to go into Minnesota and get a win but if the defense is able to stay hot and the run game continues to dominate, it will certainly make it tough for the Vikings to come out victorious.

Minnesota is coming off of a statement win against the Seattle Seahawks in their Week 3 matchup. The Vikings bested the Seahawks by a score of 30-17.

Not only did the Vikings win, but they won without their superstar running back Dalvin Cook. Cook’s backup, Alexander Mattison, filled the gap to perfection on Sunday and racked up 171 all-purpose yards.

It’s currently still unknown whether or not Cook will be able to suit up against the Browns in Week 4 with his ankle sprain. Either way, the Vikings running attack will certainly be a point of emphasis this week for Joe Woods’ defense.

The Vikings have a below-average defense and the Browns offense should be able to take advantage of that. With the 1-2 punch of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt along with Odell Beckham Jr, the offensive should not run into many problems.

Beckham Jr is looking to make a big impact come Sunday in his second game of the season. In his 2021 debut last weekend, Beckham Jr racked up 5 receptions for 77 yards and 1 rush for 10 yards. Look for the Browns to get him involved in the offense early and often.

The Browns could be short-handed on the defensive side of the ball in the secondary. The team announced that cornerback Greg Newsome ll would not return to the game during Sunday’s Week 3 win against the Chicago Bears with a calf injury.

Newsome underwent an MRI on Monday morning but Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said that he won’t have an update on the extent of the injury until Wednesday. If Newsome cannot play against the Vikings, cornerback Greedy Williams will be ready to go and be the starter opposite Denzel Ward.

This could cause issues for the Browns and could be an area that the Vikings offense decides to go after. Minnesota has an incredible wide receiving duo in Adam Thielen and youngster Justin Jefferson. If Newsome is unable to go, look out for those receivers.

My Prediction: Browns win 31-23

Overall, the Browns match up pretty well against the Vikings and I am predicting that OBJ has another encouraging performance and the Browns running game is able to wear down Minnesota’s defense late in the game to seal the deal.

As long as the Browns’ pass-rush comes to play and applies pressure to Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins, Cleveland should be in pretty good shape to win the game.
