AFC North Power Rankings No. 3 – Cincinnati Bengals

A team that could have just as much potential as the Cleveland Browns, the Cincinnati Bengals.

They have a young quarterback in Joe Burrow who may be as talented as anyone, and they have continued to draft young talent at wide receiver and offensive line.

The Bengals biggest holdup? They may have the worst owner in professional sports (Yes, even Dan Gilbert and the Dolan’s are better).

Mike Brown just isn’t willing to spend the money when the team is close to winning. He single-handedly drove Carson Palmer out of the city when the team was one or two pieces away from competing for a Super Bowl.

This team won’t be an easy win for anyone in the league, and it’s a huge bummer that the Browns must face these guys twice a year. A young and hungry team is the perfect recipe for an upset.

For 2021, I still have the Bengals in the third slot. They will at best be 3-3 in the division and likely finish just below 500 at 8-9 on the season.

Burrow still needs help from his offensive line, and I’m not sold the defense is built for a full season.

Keep your eyes on the Bengals as Burrow continues to improve, as they could quickly move up the power rankings with another great offseason.
