AFC North Power Rankings No. 1 – Cleveland Browns

Call me a homer, but I think this is the year the Cleveland Browns will finally win an AFC North title. In fact, I think I am more afraid of the Bengals than I am the Ravens, but a team with so much success deserves some respect.

Why are the Cleveland Browns now my number one? A ton of reasons; one, they can run the ball. Two, they can rush the passer. Three, they have a great coach.

And lastly, they have shown they can win a shootout or a defensive battle, whatever it takes.

General Manager, Andrew Berry, has this roster where not many ever thought possible.  Likely one of the best offensive lines in the league, and a tremendous receiving corp, the best duo at running back, and elite tight ends to go with a proven quarterback in Baker Mayfield. Seriously, this group is fantastic.

Not only is the offense great, but the defense is also loaded and continues to get better as they play together. There were seven new starters on this unit in 2021, it’s going to take time for everyone to settle in, please don’t hit the panic button.

These next three games vs. the Vikings, Chargers, and Cardinals will be huge. All games the Browns can win and will likely be favored in, but all teams that are solid and could beat the Browns.

Next. 4 Vikings to watch in Week 4. dark

Coming out of this second stretch of three games 2-1 will prove the Browns are for real and the best team in the AFC North.
