The Cleveland Browns phones will be ringing before the trade deadline. Most likely these three players’ names will come up, Andrew Berry should listen.

The Cleveland Browns have started the 2021 season off very well from a record standpoint. They will travel to Los Angeles for a huge challenge on Sunday, but they enter the week at 3-1, with their only loss to a Super Bowl favorite, the Kansas City Chiefs.

The wins are great, but it’s certainly a weird feeling at this point. The Browns are 3-1 with all their goals still attainable, but we have yet to see a game where both sides of the ball click. The offense was solid the first two weeks but hasn’t done much as of late.

Cleveland’s defense struggled significantly the first two weeks but has only allowed just over 300 total yards the last two weeks combined.

The big question now for the Browns is, what do they do before the trade deadline? The team certainly has a few positions that could be upgraded, and they also have a few pieces they may be willing to deal. See four players that could be on the block for the Browns.

Cleveland Browns trade piece No. 3 – Jarvis Landry

I know there are a lot of Jarvis Landry fans, but at least hear me out on this one. Number one, the stock on Landry is decent right now. He has played well for the Cleveland Browns and certainly has some value.

Number two, a wide receiver needy team who may compete for a playoff spot may be willing to take on his $15 million cap hit the next two seasons. Remember, with contracts due to Baker Mayfield and Denzel Ward soon, the Browns may not be able to afford all these players.

The last thing to remember, Rashard Higgins has proven he can fill in with very similar production. He had his best game last Sunday with four catches for 63 yards. Relax, I’m not saying Landry isn’t better than Higgins, but the skillset is very similar.

If a team needed a receiver badly enough, the Browns should certainly consider moving on from Landry.
