The Daily Dawg Tags bring you all the Cleveland Browns news you need to know including Baker Mayfield having a growing chip on his shoulder

On Thursday, the big news on Baker Mayfield was the partial labrum tear in his left shoulder. The Cleveland Browns claim it’s not why he had a bad day on Sunday, but there’s no doubt such an injury has to be tough to play through.

While some shrug it off by saying it’s not his throwing shoulder, it still impacts his motion. And while the staff can say it has no effect, it really has to have some.

The good news is, it won’t be nearly as impactful as the chip on his shoulder will be. Mayfield, who is hearing the criticism always shines when people begin to doubt him.

Today’s Daily Dawg Tags starts with a piece from Mary Kay Cabot who details just how Mayfield uses criticism to get better.

Cleveland Browns News

The chip on Baker Mayfield’s shoulder will help him a lot more than the tear in his left one will hurt: Mary Kay Cabot, Cleveland.com

"“Along the way, he fueled up on criticism as a vampire does on blood. He kept snippets of criticism in his locker to get his game face on, and clips on his phone. Before the opener in Kansas City, he posted a montage on Twitter of all of his detractors blasting him, including Fox Sports Colin Cowherd saying ‘it’s silly’ for Mayfield to be talked about as a top six QB, ESPN’s Mike Tannenbaum saying he doesn’t see greatness, and ESPN’s Bart Scott predicting the Browns won’t make the playoffs.’’"

Mayfield has never shied away from his detractors and he seems to live for proving them wrong. The best news for Cleveland fans is that the team is 3-1 and he’s in a familiar position — ready to prove people wrong and get on a run.

"“Former Ohio State standout and Cleveland Browns wide receiver Terrelle Pryor was arrested in Penn Township, Pa., on Wednesday after allegedly hitting a woman, according to Pittsburgh’s Action News 4.”"

Terrelle Pryor continues to make headlines for the wrong reasons after his career and this time, he ended up causing an injury to a woman. He was also accused of throwing pumpkins at a car which is just a weird thing to do.
