AFC Power Rankings: Where do Cleveland Browns land following Week 5 defeat?
By Greg Newland
AFC Power Rankings No. 1 – Buffalo Bills
The only question I really have about the Buffalo Bills, how did they find a way to lose to the Steelers in Week 1? I’m not saying the Steelers are a bottom-tier NFL team yet, but they certainly aren’t in the top half of the league at this point.
There’s no doubt the Bills had a favorable schedule to start the year, wins vs. the Miami Dolphins, Washington Football Team, and Houston Texans aren’t that special, but the way they beat the Kansas City Chiefs in Kansas City on Sunday night was impressive.
Don’t forget, the three games prior, they won with a combined score of 118-21, holding the Dolphins and Texans to zero points. That’s almost unheard of in the NFL, no matter how bad a team is.
Josh Allen is certainly a superstar, but this team is mostly made up of above-average players at every single position. There is no one guy on the roster (other than Allen and maybe Stefon Diggs) that is a household name.
With a division that is so weak, the Bills may not lose another game this season. Their biggest matchup by far will be on December 12th, when they travel to Tampa Bay, man I wish that one was in Buffalo. But this could very easily be a Super Bowl preview.
