Here are 3 under the radar players that the Cleveland Browns could use a huge boost from against Arizona.

The Cleveland Browns have never endured back-to-back losses under head coach Kevin Stefanski. That track record will be put to the test when the Browns welcome the undefeated Arizona Cardinals to Cleveland in Week 6.

Cleveland heads back to the friendly confines of FirstEnergy Stadium after losing a shootout to the Los Angeles Chargers. The Browns will take a day or two to lick their wounds and assess the injuries sustained in the AFC slugfest. But as is the nature in the NFL, the Browns have to immediately turn the page and move on to Arizona.

The Cardinals come into the week six matchup as the lone undefeated team left standing in the NFL. Arizona’s offense is clicking on all cylinders, and their defense is playing complementary football. If Cleveland is going to be able to beat the Cardinals and stay above .500, they are going to need the following under-the-radar players to shine in this Week 6 matchup.

Cleveland Browns Under the Radar Player No. 3: A.J. Green

The Cleveland Browns were already thin at the cornerback position when they made the trip to Los Angeles to take on the surging Chargers. Things only got worse for the health of the cornerback room after the opening whistle last Sunday. Denzel Ward further injured his neck taking him out of action, and after a physical gritty performance, Greedy Williams injured his already troublesome shoulder.

Add M.J. Stewart tweaking his hamstring, and now the Browns cornerback room is officially and utterly decimated.

While the health of Ward and Williams is undergoing further evaluation, and no official determination has yet been declared, A.J. Green remains the only true outside corner on the active roster. Green, who was thrust into early duty when Ward exited the game against the Chargers, made a solid account of himself.

The Chargers, namely Justin Herbert, looked in Green’s direction early and often Sunday. While he gave up some receptions, it was more often than not the receiver making a play and not Green being out of position. Green defended two passes and aided in run support making six tackles.

If the young cornerback is able to build upon the experience he accumulated against the Chargers, he could be a huge difference-maker for the Browns in Week 6. The Cardinals bring a very dynamic passing attack to Cleveland and will be looking to exploit the Browns inexperienced corners. Green has a massive opportunity in front of him, and the first order of business is to show Kyler Murray that he is no easy meal.

Green has to change his mentality this week. He is a starter now and he needs to carry his confidence at such. The Browns front office and coaching staff have placed their confidence in Green, and the time is now for the second-year undrafted free agent to repay those debts.
