Cleveland Browns Round Round 2 Pick: Zay Flowers, WR, Boston College

It’s becoming apparent that the Browns need to make some changes at wide receiver. None of their options are bad by any means, but we all have seen that the Odell Beckham and Baker Mayfield connection isn’t working. Unless things change quickly, there could be a change there.

As for Jarvis Landry, he’s been getting more and more banged up in recent seasons and that could lead to Andrew Berry trying to get him to take a reduced salary — and we all know how that could turn out.

With all that being said, the Browns add a deep threat receiver in Zay Flowers from Boston College. He doesn’t have typical wideout size but his speed and route running will work perfectly with Mayfield’s accuracy.

Cleveland Browns Round Round 3 Pick: Ali Gaye, EDGE, LSU

Jadeveon Clowney and Takk McKinley are each playing on one-year contracts, and there’s a good chance one — or both — won’t return. If that’s the case, Cleveland is going to need more depth which is why we go with Ali Gaye from LSU here.

This is a projection pick as Gaye is still a developing player. His upside, however, is through the roof and the Browns could turn him into something special.
