The Cleveland Browns season is already a quarter of the way done. While these aren’t the season-ending awards, we’ve come up with who these awards would land with at this point in the year.

As the Cleveland Browns look towards their Week 6 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, we here at Dawg Pound Daily like to take a quick look back at the season so far. Since we’re already about a quarter of the way through the season, it’s time to hand out some awards.

These awards are going to consist of those typically given out at the NFL Honors every year but they will be, of course, specific to the Cleveland Browns.

Note: These are not predictions for who will win the actual NFL awards. These are just the guys that fall into each category specifically for Cleveland.

These are also only for the first five games of the season. These are not projections on how these guys will fare for the rest of the season. There will be a piece similar to this every four games, except for this one which is obviously after Week 5.

There may be a player who is on the list for multiple awards, not everyone is going to get love if they haven’t earned it. There will be some big names excluded from this list, if you have a differing opinion on any of these, please feel free to leave a comment or tweet at me. Injuries and a lack of production absolutely factor into the decision of who gets what, so throw the idea of positional value out the window. A safety could win the MVP just as likely as a quarterback could in this world.

These Cleveland Browns players have exceeded expectations so far this season and have had a huge impact on the success of the team. Their impact and excellence on the field has solidified these guys as the frontrunners for these awards should they be awarded to just members of the Browns. Here are the Browns that have balled out and, in my eyes, won the quarter-season awards.
