Cleveland Browns Studs: Myles Garrett, Jadeveon Clowney

There are two studs on the edge for the Cleveland Browns in Myles Garrett and Jadeveon Clowney. Both had solid outings in Week 6 with Clowney scoring a sack in the first half.

Then, Garrett recorded a sack of his own on the first play of the second half setting up a second-and 18. On that play, Clowney did a good job pushing the pocket as well. Then on third down, Clowney again got past his guy and rushed the pass from Murray. He laid a hit on the Arizona signal-caller, setting up a fourth-down punt.

Garrett had three tackles and a sack as Clowney had four and one sack. Both played well, but the rest of the defense had their issues.

Cleveland Browns Dud: Coaching staff

Kevin Stefanski is a good coach and deserves some slack. However, it’s hard to keep saying his fourth-down calls are the right moves. Sure, analytics say they are but week after week, we all can predict that Baker Mayfield is about to get sacked on a fourth-and-short ‚— and it happened again on Sunday.

Outside of Stefanski, defensive coordinator Joe Woods also deserves some heat. Following two great games against Chicago and Minnesota, the Browns defense has completely fallen off the rails as they gave up 47 last week and 37 this week.

Cleveland just seemed underprepared and never really had a shot in this one. That falls on the coaching staff.
