The Cleveland Browns have hit their first bit of adversity in 2021, here are three reasons why fans should be concerned at this point.

I typically hate the Thursday night games, but this week for the Cleveland Browns it’s much needed. After such a horrible showing last week vs. the Arizona Cardinals, fans and players will want to get that nasty taste out of their mouths.

Not only was the defense horrendous on Sunday, but the Cleveland offense was also stagnant. They couldn’t run the ball, struggled to protect Baker Mayfield, and had three different turnovers.

There are not many scenarios where you win a game with those issues.

The Browns come into Week 7 at 3-3, with all three losses coming against quality opponents. The issue with that, the Browns should easily be 5-1 if they didn’t blow leads against the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers.

It’s not that they are by any means out of the playoff hunt at this point, but remember, they still have six divisional games left. That can be looked at as a great thing, or a scary thing.

On one hand, they control their own destiny. If they can beat the Ravens twice, they don’t need to worry about anything else because they’ll have a great shot at winning the division assuming they take care of business vs. the Steelers and Bengals as well.

On the other hand, the AFC North is nowhere as weak as some thought it may be. The Ravens continue to win games, the Bengals have really turned the corner with Joe Burrow playing at an elite level, and the Steelers still have a fantastic defense with Ben Roethlisberger still able to make some plays on offense.

I’m not saying to be in full panic mode yet, but here are three reasons that Browns fans should certainly be concerned right now.
