Browns Game Today: Browns vs Steelers injury report, schedule, live stream, TV channel, and betting preview for Week 8 NFL game

Halloween day brings us the first AFC North battle of the season for the Cleveland Browns (4-3) as they host their hated rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers (3-3). Cleveland is fresh off a Week 7 win which came with Case Keenum under center.

Keenum and backup running back D’Ernest Johnson were both vital to the win but will likely each be back in a reserve role. That’s because Baker Mayfield and Nick Chubb had a little extra time to heal – as did the rest of the team thanks to their last game being on a Thursday night.

While they had a mini-bye, the Steelers had a legit bye week and should also be nice and refreshed. That should make for a fun contest as the two meet for the first time since Cleveland knocked the Steelers out of the playoffs last year.

With all that being said, let’s dive in and check out all the information you need to know about Cleveland’s Week 8 contest.

Baker Mayfield injury update

Cleveland won against Denver with Case Keenum under center as he gave the fan base a reminder of why they paid him as much as they did. However, they aren’t planning on him making an appearance this weekend as Mayfield was named the starter late this week.

There’s some concern that he could injure himself further but the truth is, Mayfield will probably need surgery at this point to truly get healthy. That means it’s all about pain management and as long as he feels as though he can push through, he’s going to be the guy.
