Cleveland Browns Key Player No. 3 – Jedrick Wills and Blake Hance

At times this season, Baker Mayfield has held on to the ball far too long, but the offensive line has been battered all year with injuries. With Jack Conklin expected to miss extended time it will be Jedrick Wills and Blake Hance at tackle. Both have played well at times, but it would be great to see more consistency from both.

With Mayfield already nursing an injury, it’s more important than ever to keep him from taking a beating. As much as Mayfield has progressed in his four-year career, his biggest weakness is still when you are able to get some pressure on him.

Not only will the tackles need to be on their game in the passing game, running the football will continue to be key for the Cleveland Browns. After Kevin Stefanski somewhat gave up on the running game last week, I expect the Browns to really try and pound the football vs. the Bengals.

The more the Browns can wear down the front, the lighter the pass rush, and the bigger the passing lanes become for the Browns in the passing game.

Mayfield is going to take at least one sack by trying to extend a play which is the bad that comes with the good he can create at times. One sack is fine, but it will be important to keep him off the ground to make sure the Browns get the win on Sunday.
