4 players that will be key to a Cleveland Browns victory on Sunday
By Greg Newland
Cleveland Browns Key Player No. 1 – Jarvis Landry
I’m sure no one has been harder on Jarvis Landry than himself after last week’s performance. While he had five catches for 65 yards, the stats that will be remembered will be his fumble, two drops (one on fourth down), and false start all in the fourth quarter of last week’s game.
If anyone on this team deserves a bit of a pass, it’s Landry. Although he has missed some time this season with a knee injury, the guy has really been everything the Browns thought he would be. He makes tough catches over the middle of the field, takes big hits and hangs on, and just finds a way to get open.
Landry’s body language after the game said it all on Sunday, not only was he disappointed in the loss, he knew his play was a big reason for the outcome.
There are two ways you can respond to this type of thing. One; lay down, give up, and pout. Or two, come back with vengeance. This team and Landry know how big this game is, so I fully expect him to rebound and play a great game.
An eight-plus catch, 75 plus yards receiving, and 1 plus touchdown game is exactly what the doctor ordered to get Landry back on track. Look for Stefanski to try and get Landry and his pal Odell Beckham Jr. going early in the game.
