Move No. 1 – Move on, and move on quickly

The biggest thing the Cleveland Browns need to do after the release of Odell Beckham, Jr. is just move on. Let’s not dwell on the past, let’s not burn jerseys, and let’s not constantly question the what-ifs. This was just a bad situation and the move is truthfully best for both parties.

The offensive scheme just wasn’t what OBJ was elite at. He’s a guy that is a vertical threat and needs the ball in his hand. The Browns offense is about running the ball and using play-action to get the passing game going.

It just never worked.

While it is extremely disappointing the way this story ended, the Cleveland Browns still have all their goals ahead of them. They can still win the division, they can still make the playoffs, and they can even still win the Super Bowl.  But this locker room must stay together.

Kevin Stefanski must unite this group and keep players from picking sides. My biggest worry is Jarvis Landry now, because of his relationship with OBJ, but I also think he cares more about winning and will be fine.

The bottom line, we will learn a ton in the next 72 hours. The offense can’t lay an egg in Cincinnati, and this is truly a must-win game for the Browns.
