The Cleveland Browns play against the New England Patriots in Week 10 of the 2021 NFL Season. Here’s a look at the betting info and a prediction for the game.

Week 9 proved to be a statement game for Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns against the Cincinnati Bengals.

After deciding to move on from Odell Beckham, Jr. following some off-field drama, all eyes were on Mayfield. There were those who said his struggles under center cost them an elite talent whereas others pointed to how well Mayfield played without OBJ.

Going against a suddenly powerful Cincinnati squad, Mayfield and the Cleveland offense made it look easy. They were aided by some solid defensive play as well, including a pick-six from Denzel Ward, and that led to a 41-16 victory.

Now, they head to Foxborough for a showdown with the New England Patriots. It’s another huge game for Cleveland as their schedule shows no signs of letting up (outside of the Detroit game that is).

With that being said, let’s look ahead to the Week 10 matchup and see who is favored and what could happen when the teams meet.

The over/under is 44.5 and while the Browns nearly scored that by themselves in Week 9, this still makes sense considering how stout the Pats defense is.

The narrative that Baker Mayfield plays best when being doubted has some legs to it but the Cleveland quarterback really needs to figure out how to play at his best when the expectations are high. That will be the case after the way he played this Sunday.

In this prediction, he does find a way to keep his composure and the defense makes life hard for rookie Mac Jones. Throw in a few big runs from Nick Chubb and it’s a second win in a row, 27-18.
