Cleveland Browns WR target No. 4: Mike Williams

At 6-foot-four-4 and 218 pounds, Mike Williams is a target any quarterback would love to utilize. Add on his tremendous speed and it’s even more appealing for rock slingers.

Williams is a former No. 7 overall pick back in 2017 and has had glimpses of showing why the Los Angeles Chargers were right for taking him in that spot. The thing that hurts Williams is his inconsistency.

For years, if you play fantasy football, then this is someone who you’ve either hyped up or heard being hyped up. In the first half of this season, the hype appeared to finally be fulfilled, but the second half has been lackluster thus far.

On the season, Williams has hauled in 37 passes from Justin Herbert for 575 yards and six touchdowns. He has averaged 4.6 receptions per game. However, in his last three games, he has fallen off a bit, catching six passes for 104 yards and no scores.

In the past, the Chargers primarily used Williams as a down-the-field receiver, but this year, Los Angeles has used him all over the field, which really adds new dimensions to his repertoire.

Williams just recently turned 27, so he would be a solid investment for the Browns to explore.
