For the first time in his career, Odell Beckham Jr is a free agent after going unclaimed on waivers following his release from the Cleveland Browns.

The now former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr is a free agent and set to pick his next destination after no teams wanted to/were able to take on Beckham Jr’s $7.25 million salary.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo, Beckham Jr was not claimed on waivers and is set to hit free agency.

Beckham Jr spent three seasons in Cleveland and it never really clicked for Beckham Jr and the Cleveland Browns.

Everything really fell apart after the Browns’ 15-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers when Odell Beckham Sr decided to create an Instagram post of Baker Mayfield missing Beckham Jr wide open. In addition to the video, Beckham Sr criticized Mayfield in the comments of his post.

According to NFL reporter Jordan Schultz, Beckham Jr has prioritized Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers as his number one destination once he hits free agency.

Beckham Jr in Green Bay would create one of the best wide receiving one-two punches in the NFL with Davante Adams. The Packers are legitimate Super Bowl contenders and that’s what Beckham Jr wanted, so this would make a lot of sense.

This is something certainly to look out for as the Browns will take on the Packers Christmas Day this year.

According to Josina Anderson, Beckham Jr will take some time to asses the best situation for him with several options still on the table.

Moving forward, Browns must clean up penalties. dark. Next

Now, the Browns have officially “freed” Odell Beckham Jr… or has Beckham Jr “freed” the Browns?
