Cleveland Browns reaction: Nick Chubb to the rescue

The Browns best player and heart and soul of the team came to their rescue in this game, especially late.

After missing a contest a week ago, Nick Chubb was back and the Browns were able to use his dependability and hard nose running to get several first downs during the last drive of the game.

Chubb finished this one with an impressive 130 yards on 22 carries. He had several other long runs as well in this game that were called back because of the rash of penalties called on the Browns. It was a very ugly game for Cleveland in that department especially Wyatt Teller who was called for several infractions on the day.

Despite those struggles, Chubb, like his superhero favorite Batman, swooped in and restored justice for a Cleveland team desperate for a win.

I understand the Browns game plan in mixing the running backs in and giving each a crack at carries, however, in a game like the one in Sunday, where the Browns offense was really struggling again, it would have been better to have used Chubb even more. Regardless, a win is a win in the NFL.
