Browns mock draft: Garrett Wilson slides to Cleveland in 7-round mock

Browns mock draft Round 5 pick: JT Daniels, QB, Georgia
The Browns have questions about Baker Mayfield but they shouldn’t be quick to pull the plug. They should, however, start bringing in young players to kickstart his competitive nature — while also giving them an option for a long-term backup should Mayfield take his next step in 2022.
Cleveland adds a player to do just that with JT Daniels from Georgia. His career never took off the way he hoped but he’s still an accurate passer who could find a way onto an NFL roster.
Browns mock draft Round 6 pick: Riley Moss, CB, Iowa
Cornerback has actually been a strength for the Browns this season with Denzel Ward and Greg Newsome both playing well. Troy Hill and Greedy Williams have also done their jobs although Hill was recently lost to an injury.
Here, they add more depth with Riley Moss from Iowa. The hope is that he will be a player to provide depth but with the way things have been going in recent years, he will probably be turned to early on.
Browns mock draft Round 7 pick: Cordell Volson, OT, North Dakota State
With their final pick in this mock, the Browns pick up North Dakota State offensive tackle Cordell Volson. Listed at 6-foot-6 and 312-pounds, Volson comes from a highly-respected school and should be a great fit in the zone blocking this offense employs.
With injuries on the line being a continuing issue, he could also be someone who might be needed earlier than expected.
