Cleveland Browns prediction No. 8: Jarvis runs another two touchdowns
This season, Jarvis Landry has had some issues with his stats this season and even said before their Week 11 contest against Detroit that he didn’t know why he wasn’t getting the ball more. Apparently, the coaching staff was listening as they decided they should find ways to get him the ball.
In a low-scoring affair, Landry had the play of the day as he took a direct snap which was supposed to be a throw but when the play wasn’t there, he took off for a 16-yard touchdown. Again, they tried this in Week 12 and it was a disaster as he held the ball too long and fumbled it when he was hit.
This prediction is that Cleveland won’t be deterred by the gaffe against Baltimore and will again use Landry in trick packages down the stretch where he runs in two more touchdowns for the Browns.
Cleveland Browns prediction No. 7: JOK becomes a star
Rookie second-round pick Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah has been a flashy player this season but has yet to really break out into a starring role. One of the issues he’s had is consistency and he was even slightly called out by defensive coordinator Joe Woods who said he was struggling in a loss to the Patriots.
This could lead to No. 28 working even harder to prove he’s more than just an athletic freak who makes a big play here and there. Look for him to break out and become a playmaker who is capable of taking over games for the Browns. He started to show that skill off against Baltimore and that’s going to be just the beginning.
