Cleveland Browns prediction No. 6: David Njoku finishes with team lead in receptions and yards

01While the loss on Sunday Night Football hurt, we were reminded of one thing — David Njoku is a problem for opposing teams. He had three receptions for 35 yards and caught the only touchdown of the game. The only problem was, he should have been targeted more.

Entering Week 13, he leads the team in yards with 407 but is third behind Jarvis Landry and Austin Hooper in receptions with 27. Once the staff realized they need his 15.1 yards per reception to help open this offense, the passes should really start to fly in his direction.

Not only will he finish atop the team in yardage, but look for him to leapfrog Hooper and Landry to finish with the most receptions in Cleveland. That should make for an interesting offseason when it comes to him asking for a new deal.

Cleveland Browns prediction No. 5: John Johnson III gets three picks in final months

Against the Ravens, John Johnson III made a crazy interception, which was one of four on the day. That gave him three on the season and if he finished with that amount, it would be a respectable campaign for any safety. But this prediction is that he’s going to go out with a bang.

In the final five games, he doubles his total and finishes the season with six total picks. Cleveland got a steal when they signed Johnson and after a slow start to the season, he’s going to remind everyone how excited they were to see him join the Browns.
