The Cleveland Browns still have a shot at making the playoffs, or at least having a winning season. However, they need more from these 5 players to do so.

There was a time when a 6-6 record heading into a Week 13 bye would have been a welcome sight for Cleveland Browns fans. However, this team has given us all a taste of winning and we know that they can do much better.

In fact, they have had a couple of games this year where they should have pulled off a win. One was in their 47-42 loss to the Chargers, where they gave up 26 points in the fourth quarter. Another was when they were knocked off by the Steelers 15-10, but had some terrible drops including a key fourth-and-12.

With all that being said, the Browns can still salvage the 2021 season should they win out in the final five games. Or, they could at least still finish with a winning record, which would at least be something to hang their hats on.

In order to even think about either scenario, they need to see more from these five players.

No. 5: Cleveland Browns LT Jedrick Wills

General manager Andrew Berry made his first pick in the 2020 NFL Draft at No. 10 overall, which is where he landed Alabama offensive tackle Jedrick Wills. As a rookie, Wills moved from the right side of the line to the left and while there were some growing pains, he did his job well for the most part.

With a full season under his belt, more was expected in 2021. Sadly, Wills has not lived up to the expectations. Injuries deserve a lot of the blame as he hasn’t been as mobile as we’re used to seeing since hurting his ankle — but if he’s well enough that he can suit up, he needs to be able to perform at a high level. Cleveland needs more from him to help the entire offense be better.
