No. 4: Cleveland Browns DE Jadeveon Clowney

This isn’t meant on a knock against Jadeveon Clowney by any means. The first-year Cleveland Browns defensive end has been playing at a very high level this season.

In 11 games, he has 26 tackles with 3.5 sacks while also being credited with 21 quarterback pressures. During the Week 12 game against the Baltimore Ravens, Clowney was in the backfield constantly and made sure Lamar Jackson could never get comfortable in the pocket.

Against any other quarterback, he would likely have recorded a couple of sacks but the Ravens signal-caller was able to slip from his grasp time and again. Clowney was even seen throwing his helmet off in frustration after one play where he and Myles Garrett both nearly got to Jackson.

Having said all of that, the Browns will need Clowney more than ever down the stretch. They face some very tough opponents with the Ravens on tap again in Week 14 followed by the Raiders, Packers, Steelers, and finally the Bengals.

All of those teams have quarterbacks who can carve up a defense meaning Cleveland has to get them off their game. And with Myles Garrett set to get a ton of attention from opposing offensive linemen, Clowney needs to make them pay and get home. He has the talent to do so and the Browns need it more than ever.
