We were all guilty of over-valuing this Cleveland Browns roster ahead of the 2021 season. Looking to 2022, these 4 players should be playing elsewhere.

At 6-6, the Cleveland Browns have just five games left in the 2021 NFL Season. They’re not completely out of the running for a playoff spot but they’re going to need to play near-perfect football down the stretch.

As if that wasn’t enough pressure, they also have an insanely tough stretch of games yet. Cleveland plays Baltimore, Las Vegas, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, and finally Cincinnati in the final two months.

A lot will be figured out about this team and their mental toughness in that stretch — and it could mean there will be big changes coming up in the offseason. Including the Browns potentially saying goodbye to these four players.

No. 4: Cleveland Browns WR Rashard Higgins

Back in 2018, Rashard Higgins won over Cleveland fans as he became one of Baker Mayfield‘s favorite targets. In his third NFL season, Higgins had 39 receptions for 572 yards and four touchdowns. However, he followed that up with a frustrating campaign that saw him record just four catches for 55 yards.

Higgins continued to fight for a spot in 2020 but really broke out following an injury to Odell Beckham. He had 599 yards which was a career-high. It also had expectations high for him in 2021. But so far, he has fallen short.

In 11 games, Higgins has just 15 receptions for 185 yards and one touchdown. It’s clear that he’s not in the plans for this staff and will likely be looking for a new home in 2022.
