Andrew Berry built a strong roster for the Cleveland Browns in 2021, but there are four positions that will need upgrading if they want to win a Super Bowl.

Andrew Berry was extremely busy in the 2021 offseason gathering up talent for the Cleveland Browns.  Heading into the season, many experts argued that the Browns had a top-five roster in the NFL on just pure talent.

At this point, it’s clear that they haven’t lived up to expectations for the 2022 season. Not only were injuries a huge issue, but the team was also forced to release Odell Beckham, and a few players just didn’t live up to expectations.

The good news is, the Cleveland Browns are nowhere near needing to completely rebuild. There are a ton of questions still, but also a ton of young talent on this roster.

Below are four positions that Berry needs to focus on this offseason to have the Browns ready to make a legitimate Super Bowl run in 2022.

Position No. 4 – Kicker/Punter

To begin the season, placekicker Chase McLaughlin couldn’t miss. He was 100 percent on extra points and field goals through six weeks of the season. Since then it has been a struggle and he has missed an extra point and five field goals. In this league, you can’t afford to miss field goals, let alone extra points.

Truthfully, punting hasn’t been much better.  Jamie Gillan missed last Sunday’s game with COVID19, and things actually seemed better.

Gillan is known for having a huge leg, but his 43.9 yards per kick is just not getting it done. Believe me, there have been plenty of times where he has a ton of field to work with and he miss-hit the ball.
