3 Cleveland Browns who could earn more time with COVID issues

Cleveland Browns Player No. 1 – David Njoku
I get it, David Njoku already gets a lot of snaps, but he’s still not listed as the no. one tight end, and he is still out of contract at the end of the season. One of Berry’s biggest misses as the Cleveland Browns general manager was the signing of Austin Hooper. He’s been okay but just hasn’t produced nearly as much as expected.
I’m excited to see Njoku line up as the No. 1 tight end and have a chance of being a focal point of the offense. He’s of a freak athlete and I truly think he could be a top-five tight end in the league if he wasn’t given a shot.
Remember, we still don’t know if Mayfield is going to be able to play, so a backup quarterback like Case Keenum or Nick Mullens may rely heavily on a tight end to bail them out.
Coming into the season I thought it would be difficult to find a way to resign Njoku after this year, but after seeing how bad these wide receivers are, I hope they find a way to make it happen.
Monday night could be the perfect chance to show everyone he can be an elite tight end.
Heck, I wouldn’t be against moving the guy to wide receiver next season in situations, he has that kind of ability.
