With the Cleveland Browns now standing at 7-7 on the season, it’s hard to find players stocks that are shooting through the roof at this point, and even harder after a heartbreaking loss to a Las Vegas Raiders team that came into the game losers of five of their last six games.

The Browns were also hit hard by the Covid virus as upwards of 20 players or more were on the list at some point prior to the game Monday night. Missing so many players and starters on both sides of the ball, like their starting quarterback Baker Mayfield only added to the anxiety of the game.

Cleveland did play a tough and hard-fought game, especially with their efforts in the second half, where for a brief moment they took the lead late in the fourth quarter. But that fairy tale ending didn’t happen, and the Browns are back to fighting to stay in the playoff hunt.

It helps that their AFC North Division is very mediocre as well this season. Both the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals stand at 8-6 on the year. The Browns close the season against the Bengals at home. Mark your calendars for January 9th because that still could be the day the Browns win their division, something they haven’t accomplished since 1989.

Yes, I hold out hope because these are the Browns, a team that has had its ups and downs this season and yet still has three games to finish strong. With that let’s look back at a few outstanding performances on Monday night that should be congratulated and have these players rising with their stock.
