Cleveland Browns target No. 3 – Morgan Moses, Right Tackle

One of the more disappointing spots this year has been the tackle position for the Cleveland Browns. Jack Conklin faced a season-ending injury and Jedrick Wills also suffered multiple ankle issues throughout the year. Not to mention that Chris Hubbard also had a season-ending injury who would have been the sixth man for the line this year.

Conklin has one more year left on his deal, but there are serious questions on if he will ever play again after a knee injury this season. If he can return great, but if not, the Browns need to act quickly and pick up another starting tackle.

Morgan Moses may be the perfect fit. The 30-year old veteran is not only familiar with offensive line coach Bill Callahan, but he is also most comfortable on the right side of the offensive line. Moses could be brought in on a two or three-year deal to bridge the gap until James Hudson is ready to take over at the position.

Moses makes the most sense because of his connections to Callahan, but with Joel Bitonio not looking awful at left tackle the last few games, you may also see the Browns bump him there permanently, move Wills to the right side, and focus on adding an interior lineman.

There are a lot of moving pieces right now, but if Conklin is seriously injured, Moses would be a great fit for a short-term fix.
