Cleveland Browns target No. 1 – Michael Gallup, Wide Receiver

The one position I think you will see the biggest turnover at is wide receiver. Donovan Peoples-Jones and Anthony Schwartz will be the only two remaining, and I think you will see everyone else go including Jarvis Landry and Rashard Higgins.

Landry has been a great wide receiver for the Browns, but his salary is just too high in 2022, and his production just isn’t there to keep him around. Cleveland has been lacking a man-to-man beater and look for Berry to add that in free agency.

Michael Gallup had 1,000 yards receiving in 2019 but has been limited since because of guys like CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper getting all the targets. Injuries have limited him in 2021, but he has still shown flashes of brilliance. I’m just hoping the lack of targets and playing time will keep his asking price down in free agency.

Good news for the Browns, guys like Allen Robinson, Chris Godwin, Davante Adams, and Mike Williams are also free agents meaning the class is deep. But on the flip side, that means they could drive the market price up substantially.

I’m not thinking that Gallup is going to get in that $20 million per year range, but he could easily get $15-18 which the Cleveland Browns should be willing to pay because of his potential.

Browns can still win the AFC North in 2021. dark. Next
