4 Worst contracts on the Cleveland Browns 2021 roster

Worst Cleveland Browns contract No. 2: Jarvis Landry
I’m going to catch flack for this one, and that’s okay, but the $14.7 million the Browns are paying Jarvis Landry in 2021 is absolutely insane. Yes, he is the Browns’ best wide receiver, but it’s a very untalented group currently.
Through 15 games this season, Landry has only been active in 10 games and has 42 receptions for 452 yards and 1 single touchdown. I know he is good for a lot of 8-yard catches, but can you truly say he is worth the money he is being paid?
Remember, guys like Courtland Sutton, Davante Adams, and Stefon Diggs are currently making less money than Landry is. You can put a value on a locker room guys, but it’s not $15 million.
The wide receiver room will likely be completely reshuffled in 2022. Donovan Peoples-Jones should survive and possibly Anthony Schwartz, but don’t expect Landry or a guy like Rashard Higgins around.
In Landry’s final year of his deal (2022), the Cleveland Browns will owe him $16.6 million with none guaranteed and very little dead money. I see no possible scenario where Landry is on this roster post-2021.
I expect Berry to not only use the team’s first-round pick on a wide receiver but also sign a middle to a top-tier free agent to round out the roster. A guy like Garrett Wilson from Ohio State would be a perfect fit on this roster.
