In 28 tries, Ben Roethlisberger has only not beaten the Cleveland Browns four times in his career. Will things be any different on Monday night?

By Monday evening at 8 PM, the Cleveland Browns will know if their path to an AFC North title is still open. The Browns will need to Bengals to lose vs. the Chiefs, and the Ravens to lose to the Rams.

Both could be likely to happen, but now Cleveland have another difficult task.

Not only must the Browns win out to have a shot, but they will also be facing Ben Roethlisberger at Pittsburgh, in his final home game (likely). After 18 seasons the veteran said Thursday morning to ESPN reporters that this is likely the end of the road for him.

"“Looking at the bigger picture, I would say all signs are pointing to this could be it — regular season, that is,” Roethlisberger said Thursday. “I know we still have a chance to potentially get a playoff game there if things fall our way and we take care of business and things have to happen. In the grand scheme of things, in terms of regular seasons, signs are pointing that way that this could be it.”"

The Steelers are always a difficult win for the Cleveland Browns, and you can’t tell me they won’t have a little extra pep in their step to get the franchise quarterback one last win at home. Remember, Roethlisberger is an unprecedented 25-3-1 vs. the Browns.

We can’t forget until last season, Roethlisberger had the most wins of any quarterback in First Energy Stadium. Yes, more than any Browns quarterback as well, who had seven extra games per season.

Should the Cleveland Browns win on Monday night football? Absolutely!

Will they? It remains to be seen. It depends what Baker Mayfield shows up and how charged up Roethlisberger is to get one final home win.
