The Cleveland Browns will be on the hunt for new talent for this free agency. Here are three players currently outside the organization to consider.

Andrew Berry and the Cleveland Browns have their work cut out for the 2022 offseason. Truthfully, I don’t think there was a team that had a more disappointing season than the Browns. They finished 8-9 after an 11-win season in 2020 and failed to make the playoffs.

Berry focused on the defense during the 2021 offseason, and that paid big dividends. They struggled to gel at the beginning of the season but really performed well to close.  Unfortunately, with an injured Baker Mayfield, the offense just wasn’t the same, and struggle to move the ball, let alone put up points.

The Browns could potentially lose a few big names to free agency. Jadeveon Clowney, David Njoku, Anthony Walker, and Ronnie Harrison will all be able to test the waters. However, I would not be surprised to see Berry try and keep at least two of these guys, maybe even three. Harrison is the only one I think will be finding a new team.

Where will the rest of the focus be? There is likely going to be a big void at wide receiver. The team can save more than $15 million by moving on from Jarvis Landry, and it doesn’t appear that Rashard Higgins exactly earned another deal either.

One of my bigger concerns is the offensive line.  Injuries were devastating at tackle in 2021, and I’m not sure the depth is there right now, and there are still questions about Jack Conklin returning to full strength.

Berry will certainly be busy extending current players and re-signing free agents that played for the Browns in 2021, but here are three free agents from the outside that could make a lot of sense for 2022.
