Potential Landing Spot No. 6

Minnesota Vikings

Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen are one of the best pass-catching duos in the entire NFL, but even they could use some reinforcements. Enter Jarvis Landry.

With the amount of attention these two garners from opposing defenses, it would open up the slot and middle of the field for Landry, who would be able to operate at his best.

Now, ideally for the Browns, they could work out a deal to send Landry to Minnesota for Thielen, who has one year remaining on his current contract, even though that seems highly unlikely the Vikings would want to give up Thielen.

Ironically, Kirk Cousins has been linked to the Browns this offseason as a potential replacement for Baker Mayfield. If Landry ended up staying in Cleveland and the Browns elected to trade for Cousins, Landry would then be catching passes from him and not Mayfield. That scenario does not seem likely, although anything is possible, I suppose.

The Vikings and Browns could very well do business together in some capacity as Minnesota has hired Browns executive Kwesi Adofo-Mensah as their new general manager. Could he and Browns GM Andrew Berry cook up some potential trades? Time will ultimately tell. Maybe Landry will head to the Twin Cities.
