With it feeling like the Cleveland Browns will be moving on from Ronnie Harrison, here are three free agency options to fill the void.

The Cleveland Browns have a lot of difficult offseason decisions to make in 2022. After a very disappointing 2021, many folks are left with a puzzled feeling. There’s so much talent on the roster, yet the team just couldn’t find a way to win games.

When you start questioning why a team can’t finish games, it’s easy to start asking personnel questions.  Who has the big contract and isn’t performing? One of the biggest issues last year was the wide receiver room.

We all know the Odell Beckham drama that ended in his release, but as bad as Baker Mayfield was at times, the receiver gave him absolutely no help. Jarvis Landry had his worst year as a pro, Donovan Peoples-Jones had some costly drops, and Anthony Schwartz just couldn’t stay healthy.

The good news is that room will likely have a completely fresh start for 2022. Expect the Browns to go after a big-name free agent, as well as use an early draft pick (likely their first-rounder) at the position.

The one position that has slid under the radar is safety. Ronnie Harrison is set to be a free agent, and I don’t see Andrew Berry wanting to bring him back. He was a good player for the Browns but is a bit of a liability on the field (from a mental capacity) and will likely be looking to get paid coming off his rookie contract.

The defense will have John Johnson and Grant Delpit on the roster, but remember, Joe Woods wants to have three safeties on the field more than 50 percent of the defensive snaps. Here are three guys that could be great fits in free agency.
