Free Agent Option No. 3 – Quandre Diggs

It feels like something has got to give in Seattle, and it will be interesting to see if Quandre Diggs is in the long-term plans for the organization. The former sixth-round pick from Texas has been a contributor since day one in the NFL and had his best season in 2021.

There’s no doubt that Diggs is a great player, but with all the questions around Russell Wilson and the coaching staff, you could see a lot of changes this offseason including letting a two-time pro-bowler like Diggs walk.

The big question for the Cleveland Browns will be if they can afford a guy like Diggs. He is by far the best player I have listed as an option, but Cleveland may not be that desirable with Johnson and Delpit already on the roster.

Diggs is a smaller guy at 5-foot-9 and 197 pounds, but he certainly isn’t afraid of contact. In 2021 Diggs had 94 tackles and started every single game.

The Browns defense would be loaded in the back end with the addition of Diggs. You would see Johnson and Delpit playing the back half, with Diggs roaming all around the field and just creating havoc everywhere he goes.
