Cleveland Browns trade target No. 2: Laviska Shenault, WR

Yes, this would probably be the toughest move for the Jaguars to make considering Laviska Shenault is the only member of their receiving corps that seems capable of making any plays. He finished 2021 with 619 yards on 63 receptions and while he had no touchdowns, he was the only young receiver that moved the chains.

Jacksonville still leaned more heavily on veteran Marvin Jones who is a free agent but if they retained him, they could look to get what they can for Shenault and add some more youth in a 2022 NFL Draft class that’s stacked with wideouts.

Shenault could also be willing to relocate. He has 1,219 yards and five touchdowns in two seasons but has been criminally underutilized. He showed at Colorado that he could line up in the backfield and make plays and the Jags have yet to really unleash that part of his game as he has just 132 yards rushing.

In Cleveland, he would serve as a younger and faster slot receiver than Jarvis Landry — while saving them a ton of money — and can be used in the backfield as well to keep defenses guessing. Overpaying for him wouldn’t be advised but Shenault still feels like a weapon Kevin Stefanski would love to have.
