Cleveland Browns: 3 trade targets on Jacksonville Jaguars

Cleveland Browns trade target No. 1: Myles Jack, LB
Another one that might not be easy to make happen — but would immensely improve the Cleveland Browns roster —‚ would be adding linebacker Myles Jack. A former linebacker and running back at UCLA, Jack signed a four-year $57 million extension ahead of the 2019 season and has been worth every penny.
He has 513 tackles, 6.5 sacks, three picks, and 15 pass defenses in his six seasons in the NFL. He’s constantly around the football and the Browns could use a middle linebacker capable of doing the things Jack can do.
Of course, the hold-up would be the way Cleveland appears to value the position. Perhaps it’s general manager Andrew Berry and his analytical approach, or maybe it’s defensive coordinator Joe Woods who doesn’t need a ‘thumper’ in his scheme. Whatever it is, the Browns have brought in B.J. Goodson and Anthony Walker in recent seasons on affordable deals which makes it seem like a reach for them to bring in a high-priced player such as Jack.
However, putting him on the same field as Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah — who was excellent as a rookie — and Jacob Phillips could make the linebacking corps in Cleveland something to behold.
In 2021, this defense took several steps forward in the right direction and Jack could help them continue to make positive strides.
